First off, thank you reading Kaylee’s Harvest. I was excited to write this story for Hellhounds because my dear friend Kate asked for help to push back on a bully. No matter how you read this story, you helped contribute to saving an elderly woman’s home from a predator.

So, thank you.

Kaylee’s a little bit of a different twist on a necromancer, and I fell in love with her character. With that said, Kaylee’s Harvest was a thought experiment for me. Once the idea hit me, I had to write it and truth be told, Kaylee’s Harvest is the second short story I wrote. My first story was the night she discovered her powers. When her friends were murdered and assaulted, Maybelle arrived on the scene, and her powers emerged.

I need to put that story through the editing rounds still, but if you’d like to read it, you can sign up to receive it here once I’m finished editing.

Also, I’m happy to announce that she will get her own series which shouldn’t be much of a surprise. I’m still plotting out her story arc, but expect more news near the end of 2022 or at the beginning of 2023. Her story will be connected to Kaedin’s (see my Shadow Games series), but is an independent arc. You won’t need to read Kaedin’s journey if you don’t want and vice versa. Still, they have some important interaction…

Until then, for more updates and news about what I’m writing you can sign up for my newsletter below. I’ll even send you my short story, Deadman’s Anchor as a thank you.
